Despite it no longer being a round of the FIA World Endurance Championship, a world-class field of teams and drivers will descend on central Florida for next month's 61st annual Twelve Hours of Sebring.

The entry list for the American Le Mans Series season opener was released Tuesday, featuring a respectable 42-car grid that includes an impressive eight-car field of P1 class machinery that will do battle on the famed airfield circuit for the final time.

Audi Sport Team Joest will bring a pair of R18 e-tron quattros to go up against full-season entries from Muscle Milk Pickett Racing (HPD ARX-03c), Dyson Racing (Lola-Mazda) and Rebellion Racing (Lola B12/60 Toyota), while the DeltaWing, now under the sole command of series founder Dr. Don Panoz, is also expected to make an appearance in the premier prototype ranks.

The P2 class features a five-car entry, led by defending class champion Level 5 Motorsports, which confirmed its all-star driver lineup in a SPEED.com exclusive earlier today.

Joining the two-car HPD ARX-03b effort will be another pair of HPDs from Extreme Speed Motorsports, which made a shock switch to the cost-capped prototype ranks earlier this month, as well as a Zytek Z11SN Nissan for British outfit Greaves Motorsport.

The GT class is set to see a battle-royale, with 12 entries from six manufacturers represented, including the debuting BMW Z4 GTE from BMW Team RLL, along with the two SRT Motorsports Viper GTS-R's, which will also attempt their first race at Sebring. Aston Martin Racing will also bringing over a pair of factory Vantage V8s, ahead of its FIA WEC campaign.

Seven entries make up the PC category, with the potential for an eighth that could be announced in the coming weeks, while ten GTC cars are entered, including the new Dempsey/Del Piero and Flying Lizard Motorsports efforts, which move from the P2 and GT categories, respectively.
