Some of the best battles from this installment of In-Car Theater come between the two team cars of Dyson Racing as seen here. ยป More Photos

It was a near-perfect weekend for the Dyson Racing team. Celebrating their 25th anniversary, the Poughkeepsie-based team dressed their ALMS LMP2 Porsche RS Spyders in the colors of the '80's IMSA GTP Porsche 962 to the delight of the fans, and in the race, were on course for a strong finish at what they consider to be their home race.

While the final result didn't match their hopes for victory, Chris Dyson and Guy Smith put their #16 through its paces on the traffic-laden circuit before an untimely coming together with a GT2 car un braking put an end to their day.

It's obvious from the outset that the two pilots are giving their all, so Click Here to enjoy the view from over their right shoulders as they wage battle at Lime Rock last weekend in the latest installment of ALMS: In-Car Theater Lime Rock, Dyson/Smith Porsche LMP2, courtesy of the American Le Mans Series.

(0:10) Great start for Chris Dyson
(0:27) Did they touch?
(2:23) Dirt is already covering parts of the track as we see Chris begin to slide
(3:14-3:29) The car gets away from
Chris at the same spot one lap later.
(3:43-3:58) Dyson does a great job of timing his pass on Andretti when Marco gets held up in traffic.
(4:24) A great job of avoidance as the #37 Intersport car fails to accelerate
(5:00) Another interesting camera angle.
(6:49) The speed gap between the two P2 cars is surprising.
(7:05) Playing with a Penske Porsche.
(8:10) The fun comes to an end when traffic intervenes. Passing on the outside is never easy…
(8:26) Now it’s Guy Smith’s turn in the car.
(8:31-8:44) A strong restart for Smith.
(9:00) Looks like a battle between Dyson cars is in store.
(10:11) Guy gets a good run on Butch, but if only there was room to get by…
(10:24- It’s interesting to note where their respective strengths are on the track. Guy appears to have a lot of mechanical grip in the slow corners, but suffers understeer in the medium speed corners.
(11:52-12:05) Got him this time….or maybe not.
(13:01) The Highcroft car is looking for a way past but will have to be patient.
(14:29) A slight touch while attempting a pass puts a premature end to the #16 Dyson car’s day. Game over.
