Saturday's Tequila Patron American Le Mans Series at Long Beach produced a thrilling down-to-the-wire finish in LMP, with Patron Highcroft Racing's Simon Pagenaud and David Brabham coming out on top. Pagenaud passed race leader Adrian Fernandez on the final lap to give the Duncan Dayton-owned team its first victory of the season, and first in the new combined prototype category.

The battle was just as intense in GT, with the No. 45 Flying Lizard Motorsports Porsche of Patrick Long and Jorg Bergmeister claiming the class win. Green Earth Team Gunnar (LMPC) and Alex Job Racing (GTC) picked up the victories in the Challenge divisions.
