With their sponsorship of the Petit Le Mans event this weekend at Road Atlanta, Mazda chose the perfect weekend to debut their radical new Mazda-powered Lola closed-top coupe. The car, designated the Mazda-Lola B08/86, represents the Japanese manufacturers greatest hopes to join the fiercely competitive battles at the front of the LMP2 category in the American Le Mans Series.
Mazda gave SPEEDtv.com an exclusive first look inside the exciting coupe and driver Gerardo Bonilla takes us for an in-depth technical tour of the car before narrating his fastest laps in practice with in-car footage only available on our site. We follow those two narrated laps with four more, albeit minus narration and at full volume.
