Tucked away in the Racecar Engineering show next door are a number of gems, Lola's LMP2 coupe, is shown off in public for the first time, albeit in the form of a wind tunnel model. Lola is also set to reveal the first customer for its new LMP1 chassis Thursday at 1200GMT.

With rumors of everyone from Aston Martin to Intersport using a Lola Coupe, the purposeful profile of the wind tunnel model images captured show a blend of lines from the current Lola LMP2 car used by Acura and Mazda, a nose profile and cabin profile similar to those implemented by the Peugeot with their 908 HDi FAP coupe.

While the final version of any wind tunnel
model tends to differ with the full-sized version of the chassis, the B08/60 prototype isn't expected to wildly differ when it is revealed.

Lola, not unfamiliar to enclosed prototypes, has produced such famous models as the T70 and T92/10, campaigned by the Euroracing outfit in the former F1-engined era of WSPC (World Sports Prototype Championship) racing in the early 1990's. where the T92/10 suffered from a lack of development and funding, the B08/60 is expected to deliver greater results for Lola and its customers.
