Mike Conway will test with the Brawn/Mercedes team at next week's three-day young driver session at Jerez.

The news was not announced by the Brackley based team but instead published on an itinerary issued by the Spanish circuit.

26-year-old Briton Conway is an IndyCar driver for Dreyer & Reinbold Racing and has tested in the past with Brawn's predecessor Honda. He won the prestigious British Formula 3 Championship with Raikkonen Robertson Racing in 2006.

In his first year in IndyCar, Conway scored three top-10 and one top-5 finish, that being a third place at Sonoma. He finished the season 17th in the driver standings.

Also testing will be Marcus Ericsson, 19. Ericsson is the new champion of Japanese F3, who recently made his GP2 debut in the Asian series.

He began his single seater career in 2007 by winning the Formula BMW UK championship.

The newly renamed Mercedes GP won both the Formula One constructors title and world drivers championship this past season.

The Jerez itinerary did not shed any light on McLaren's testing plans, but it is expected that Gary Paffett will be driving.
