Sebastien Bourdais posted the quickest time in Practice 2 at Watkins Glen, as Rolex Sports Car Series teams gear up for tomorrow's Continental Tire 200 at Watkins Glen.

The Frenchman aboard the No. 2 Starworks Motorsport Riley-Ford turned a best time of 1:22.593 in the 25-minute wet session, which saw only two Daytona Prototypes venture onto the circuit.

Bourdais wound up nearly two seconds quicker than the No. 99 GAINSCO/Bob Stallings Racing Corvette of Jon Fogarty, who was second quickest overall and in class.

In GT, the No. 69 AIM Autosport Team FXDD Ferrari of Jeff Segal led the way with a 1:26.058 lap time in his championship-leading entry.

Segal was just less than seven-tenths quicker than the No. 44 Magnus Racing Porsche of Andy Lally, who along with John Potter won last month's Brickyard Grand Prix.

Practice 1 pacesetter Bill Auberlen made it three different manufacturers in the top-three, with his Turner Motorsport BMW M3 turning a best time of 1:26.717.

With heavier rain failing around the 2.45-mile circuit, times were significantly slower than the first session. Only 14 cars recorded a time.

Next up is qualifying, scheduled for 5:40 p.m. ET.

RESULTS: Practice 2
