On the heels of announcing Stephane Sarrazin, Nic Minassian and Pedro Lamy as drivers for the Rolex 24 at Daytona, Enzo Potolicchio has confirmed that another ex-Peugeot star will complete his new team's lineup for next month's GRAND-AM season-opener.

Potolicchio revealed to SPEED.com Thursday that Toyota factory ace Anthony Davidson will be the fifth driver for 8Star Motorsports in the twice-around-the-clock endurance classic.

It will mark the Englishman's Rolex Sports Car Series and Daytona Prototype debut, while also being his first professional race back since suffering fractured vertebrae in a serious accident at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June.

"I'm really happy to have him for the Rolex 24," Potolicchio told SPEED.com. "He helped me a lot at Le Mans. Just talking on the phone, he helped me like an old time buddy and took me around on a scooter and gave me all of the details.

"So I owe it to him to give him a chance to come back. He's really interested in Daytona and it's one of the races he wanted to do. I think we're going to have the right package to give it a good shot at it."

As for Potolicchio's co-driver for the remainder of the season, he says it will be split between his four Rolex 24 teammates, with Sarrazin slated to compete in six of the 12 rounds.

"I think they're really professional, really clean and very experienced in prototype endurance racing. So I think we'll have a good lineup for the whole season," Potolicchio said.

The Pompano Beach, Fla.-based team plans to shake down its brand-new Coyote-chassied Corvette DP at Moroso Motorsports Park on Dec. 22, ahead of its first official test at the Roar Before the Rolex 24 early next month.
