With less than a month to go before the 51st Rolex 24 at Daytona, Doran Racing has confirmed its entry for the GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series season-opener that will also include additional races with its newly upgraded Riley-bodied Dallara-Ford DP.

The Ohio-based team confirmed Monday that open-wheel ace Paul Tracy and Dr. Jim Lowe will return to the wheel of the No. 77 machine, joined by CORE autosport team principal Jon Bennett and his ALMS season-long co-driver Colin Braun.

All four drivers will take part in the Rolex 24 and Sahlen's Six Hours of The Glen, with Tracy and Lowe planning to also tackle the third round of the North American Endurance Championship at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Bennett and Braun, meanwhile, will compete in the series' second round of the season at the new Circuit of the Americas in Austin. Additional races are also possible for the duo.

“Looking back at our season in 2012 with Jim and Paul, I am pleased to have them back running the 77, and this year with the new car, we are confident to have a strong year in the North American Endurance Championship," team owner Kevin Doran said. "Having Jon Bennett and Colin Braun with us will certainly strengthen our efforts to run up front.”

The team will debut its newly upgraded Gen-3 Dallara-Ford at the Rolex 24.

“The best part about this year is having continuity,” said Lowe. “I’m excited to run with Kevin and his team and to drive again with Paul. There is a level of comfort and familiarity among all of us, and especially with Paul.

"We get along real well, race well together, and we are both looking forward to the new season. Kevin and his team has been a good fit and I am looking forward to the opportunity of running with the same bunch of guys. It makes for a good formula for success.”
