Following its driver evaluation program during the second half of the year, Action Express Racing has finalized its four full-season pilots for the 2013 Rolex Sports Car Series season.

Joining team veteran Joao Barbosa and new season-long signing Christian Fittipaldi will be brothers Burt and Brian Frisselle, who were announced today by the North Carolina-based team.

The exact driver pairings between the two Corvette DPs have yet to be determined.

Monday's news confirms the departure of both David Donohue and Darren Law, who had been with the team since its inception. Terry Borcheller, who stepped aside during the second half of the season, has also not been retained for a full-season drive.

“We look forward to Burt and Brian joining our team and I want to send special thanks to David Donohue and to Darren Law for the many years of service that they gave to Action Express Racing," said Action Express Racing team manager Gary Nelson.

The team had tried out a number of drivers in the No. 5 Corvette DP in the closing rounds this year, including open-wheel veteran Paul Tracy and rising sports car star Jordan Taylor.

Brian Frisselle also tried his hand, teaming with Donohue for a fourth place finish in last month's season finale at Lime Rock Park, and having since landed the coveted seat for 2013.

"I am so excited and grateful for the opportunity to drive for Action Express Racing," Brian Frisselle said. "It is a world class organization that has the ability to compete for championships. It is truly a blessing and a dream come true to join a first rate team along with my brother Burt.

"I also look forward to working with Joao and Christian, both of whom are two of the best drivers in the business. I can't wait for the 2013 season to start and get back to working toward winning a Rolex Series Championship."

Brother Burt, meanwhile, is also no complete stranger to Action Express, having been a part of the team's lineup at the 2011 Rolex 24 at Daytona.

"To join Action Express with Joao, Christian, and my brother Brian is not only a dream come true it is the greatest opportunity that I have had in my racing career," Burt said. "In my brief time with the team in 2011 I came to admire the organization and their commitment to excellence.

"I can't wait to get started with Action Express and am thrilled to have my brother racing for the same organization. I know that the team will get nothing but our absolute best."
