The final Rolex Series qualifying session of 2010 takes place Live on SPEED.com today at 5:45 p.m. ET from Miller Motorsports Park, and more intense battles for pole position are expected.

SPEED's broadcast team will provide coverage of the Rolex DP and GT sessions at MMP, where the final grid will be set for Saturday's two hour and 45 minute race on SPEED (11 a.m. ET).

For viewers familiar with SPEED's extensive roster of sportscar commentators and pit reporters, the online Rolex Series qualifying sessions will be an extension of the thorough coverage GRAND-AM fans are accustomed to. Veteran SPEED broadcaster Calvin Fish says the addition of regular live steaming Rolex Series session on SPEED.com will bring racing fans into one of the most thrilling aspect of GRAND-AM competition.

"Nothing beats the excitement of a Rolex Series race coming down to the wire. However, qualifying presents its own sense of drama which will be great to cover this year. A driver's search for the perfect lap is one of the great challenges in the sport. Watching these drivers put it on the line with the car at its optimum, with fresh tires and low fuel is fun to watch.
