With a hugely diverse field of cars entered and yet another star-studded driver line up of international racing stars set to do battle for the prestigious Rolex Pyramid Trophy, the 2012 Rolex 24 At Daytona will no doubt be a history-making event.

And with ‘green to checkered’ coverage live on SPEED Channel and Speed.com in the US, as well as 15 hours of live coverage distributed across Europe on MOTORS TV, there will be no missing a moment for fans as the 2012 GRAND-AM championship season kicks off. The racers’ and the teams efforts’ will not only be broadcast across the globe on television, but the entire weekend will be also be recorded in the form of millions of Tweets, countless blog posts, photo galleries, and Facebook updates as the stories emerge in real time.

But it is not just race car drivers who have stories to tell.

Michael Shank Racing with Curb/Agajanian has teamed up with LiveOn as part of a promotional partnership that will see the No. 60 Ford Riley of John Pew, Ozz Negri, AJ Allmendinger and Justin Wilson take to the high banks of Daytona International Speedway next week to open the 2012 GRAND-AM race season carrying branding from LiveOn.

CEO and Founder, Jonathan Whistman started LiveOn in November 2010. Frustrated with the lackluster memorial of a friend, he sought to help people take charge of their legacies. The LiveOn team works out of downtown Kansas City, and just launched their web application, LiveOn in November 2011.

LiveOn is a unique offering on the web, allowing users to control their legacy for generations to come. The site looks to answer a question--where will all your most important memories end up, and will they be around for the future? Much more than an electronic scrapbook or photo storage site, LiveOn serves as a chance to catalogue wisdom and advice to future generations, creating a dynamic time capsule experience that will be protected for generations to come.

“We are thrilled to establish this program with Michael Shank Racing with Curb/Agajanian and partner with the team to start off the 2012 GRAND-AM season,” said Whistman. “LiveOn is a different kind of experience, and we want to make the most of this opportunity to reach a new audience. We expect 2012 to be a very big year for us, and being part of an event like the Rolex 24 is a fantastic way for us to start.”

As part of the partnership, LiveOn established a sample timeline of MSR driver John Pew (https://www.LiveOn.com/johnpew.)

“I was really impressed with how easy the entire process of developing my timeline on LiveOn was,” said Pew. “It was pretty cool to have everything right there, online. Of course as a parent, you really like the idea of being able to pass on a little more of myself to my grandkids and their kids a long way in the future, so this is a pretty exciting program to be involved with and I’m very happy they are on board with Mike Shank. Hopefully we can add a big result in the 24 to the timeline next week!”
