Nick Longhi gave Rum Bum Racing a head start towards extending its three-race winning streak in the GRAND-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge on Friday, winning the pole position for Saturday's Kia 200.

Longhi ran a lap of 1:25.994 (96.286 mph) in the No. 13 BMW M3 co-driven by Matt Plumb. The team won the final two races of 2010 in addition to the season-opening GRAND-AM 200 at Daytona International Speedway in January.

The 64-car field will take the green flag at 4:15 p.m. ET Saturday, following the Grand Prix of Miami for the GRAND-AM Rolex Series at noon.

"This team is a machine," said Longhi after capturing his second consecutive pole. "It's not as easy as it looks, and I'd be crazy to believe that some luck isn't involved. We are running our butts off."

Longhi will be joined on the front row by Jack Roush Jr., who ran a lap of 1:26.081 (96.188 mph) in the No. 61 Ford Mustang Boss 302R. His co-driver, Billy Johnson, won at Homestead with Roush in 2010 in addition to winning here in 2009 with a different team.

Jocelyn Hebert won the Street Tuner pole with a lap of 1:32.189 (89.815 mph) in the No. 98 89 Racing Team Honda Civic Si. Second fastest was Mark Pombo in the No. 31 i-Moto MAZDASPEED3, running a lap of 1:32.205 (89.800 mph).
