Ozz Negri topped the time charts in a dry-turned-wet final practice, as GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series teams prepare for qualifying for Sunday's Grand Prix of Miami (1 p.m. ET, Live! SPEED).

The Rolex 24-winning Michael Shank Racing Riley-Ford of Negri reeled off a best time of 1:20.848, just prior to heavy rains engulfing the 2.3-mile South Florida circuit. The Brazilian's lap was some six seconds off David Donohue's pace-setting time from Friday, indicating possible damp conditions even prior to the downpour.

The No. 01 Telmex Chip Ganassi Racing Riley-BMW of Scott Pruett was second quickest, followed by the No. 99 GAINSCO/Bob Stallings Racing Corvette DP of Jon Fogarty and Alex Gurney.

Guy Cosmo topped the GT time charts again in his Extreme Speed Motorsports Ferrari F458 Italia Grand Am, setting the fifth quickest time overall.

With a possibility of rain for tomorrow's two-hour and 45-minute race, a handful of teams took advantage of the wet running time.

Qualifying is scheduled to get underway at 12:45 p.m. but could be impacted by the inclement weather.
