Risi Competizione will come locked and loaded to Daytona International Speedway in quest of capturing GT class honors in 50th Rolex 24. After announcing a two-car Ferrari F458 Italia Grand-Am entry last month, the Houston-based squad confirmed Wednesday the driver lineups for its pair of Prancing Horses.

Defending European Le Mans Series GTE-Pro champions Gianmaria Bruni and Giancarlo Fisichella will join Risi regular and fellow factory driver Toni Vilander in the No. 62 machine, while Brazilian Raphael Matos, Ferrari test driver Andrea Bertolini and former Corvette factory driver Olivier Beretta round out the driving force in the No. 63 Ferrari.

The biggest news comes with the arrival of Beretta, who spent eight years as a GM factory driver. The five-time American Le Mans Series GT1 champion, and the winningest driver in series' history, is believed to have become a factory Ferrari driver, replacing Jaime Melo, who had a less-than-stellar 2011 season with Risi.

No word has been given on Beretta's replacement at Corvette.

Risi's lineup is undoubtedly one of the strongest in the already stacked GT field, which is expected to have upwards of 50 entries for the twice-around-the-clock classic, that celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.

The Daytona effort, entered under the Risi Competizione with American Canadian Racing banner, is also being supported by a consortium of Ferrari dealers, including Ferrari of Ontario, Ferrari of Beverly Hills, Ferrari of Silicon Valley, Ferrari of Ft. Lauderdale, Boardwalk Ferrari, Ferrari of Vancouver and Ferrari of Houston.

All six drivers will be out in action at this weekend's Roar Before the Rolex 24 official test at Daytona.

Risi has yet to confirm its 2012 program beyond the Rolex 24, but is believed to be either a full season of Rolex Series or ALMS competition.
