Scuderia Corsa confirmed this week a two-car program for next month's Rolex 24 at Daytona, along with a full-season effort in the Rolex Series with one of its Ferrari 458 Italias.

The Beverly Hills, Ca.-based team, owned by Giacomo Mattioli, will field the No. 63 car for newly crowned Ferrari Challenge world champion Alessandro Balzan and Alessandro Pier Guidi, with fellow Italian Marco Frezza joining the two for next month's season-opener.

For Daytona, the team's second Prancing Horse will be entered in association with Via Italia Racing Team, featuring an all-Brazilian lineup of Francisco “Chico” Longo,Rafa Matos, Daniel Serra and Xandinho Negrao.

"Racing in the Rolex 24 at Daytona with Ferrari combined with the talent we have put together, makes me confident that Scuderia Corsa will give fans a very competitive and exciting race to watch," Mattioli said.

Scuderia Corsa made its GRAND-AM debut in select Rolex Series rounds this year, which included a pole by Balzan at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca and podium at the season finale at Lime Rock Park.
