Starworks Motorsport led the way again as GRAND-AM teams prepare for qualifying for Saturday's Rolex Sports Car Series 250 Driven by VisitFlorida.com.

The rapid Scot, piloting the team's No. 8 Riley-Ford, set a best time of 2:01.567, nearly one-second quicker than his pace-setting time on Thursday.

The No. 01 Telmex Ganassi Riley-BMW of Scott Pruett slotted in second quickest with a 2:02.453 lap time, ahead of the quickest Corvette DP coming from the GAINSCO/Bob Stallings Racing stables in third.

Starworks' sister No. 2 Riley-Ford of Lucas Luhr was fourth, while the No. 5 Action Express Racing Corvette DP completed the top-five.

In GT, the No. 67 TRG Porsche of Spencer Pumpelly was quickest, thanks to his 2:12.602 lap time. Pumpelly led a Porsche 1-2-3 in class, with the No. 59 Brumos machine and No. 44 Magnus Racing entry also showing improved pace.

Twenty-six cars set time during the 30-minute session, which ran without major incident.

Next up is qualifying, scheduled to get underway at 2:05 p.m.
