GRAND-AM: Vote For The Rolex Moment Of 2010
With only one race remaining in the GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series season, fans are invited to cast their vote for the 2010 Rolex Moment of the Year.

With only one race remaining in the GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series season, fans are invited to cast their vote for the 2010 Rolex Moment of the Year.

The winning moment will be announced at the 2010 Rolex Championship Banquet presented by SunTrust on Monday, Sept. 13, at the Aria Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nev.

Cast your vote at www.grand-am.com/2010rolexmoments. Voting ends at midnight (ET) on Saturday, Sept. 12.

The 2010 nominees are:

• Victory Lane "Action" at Daytona

Action Express Racing won its debut race, the Rolex 24 At Daytona, with Joao Barbosa holding off Scott Pruett by 52 seconds to win America's most prestigious endurance race. It was also the first victory for a Porsche V-8 engine in international 24-hour competition. Terry Borcheller, Ryan Dalziel and Mike Rockenfeller also co-drove the No. 9 Porsche/Riley.



• Turner Aces Crash Course

Turner Motorsport came back from an accident that forced them to miss the Sahlen's Six Hours of The Glen to score its first Rolex Series victory only two weeks later. Bill Auberlen and Joey Hand co-drove the No. 94 BMW M6.



• Record-Setters - And Champions

Scott Pruett and Memo Rojas made Rolex Series history by winning their eighth race of the season in the Montreal 200 in the No. 01 BMW/Riley - clinching their second Daytona Prototype title in three seasons. Chip Ganassi Racing also wrapped up its fourth team title since 2004.



• Shank Shows Resilience

Michael Shank Racing saw its No. 6 Ford/Riley go up in flames at the entrance to pit road in the closing stages of the Sahlen's Six Hours in June. Two weeks later, the team had a Ford/Dallara ready for Mid-Ohio, where Michael Valiante and Brian Frisselle finished fourth, two positions behind teammates Ozz Negri and John Pew in the No. 60 Crown Royal XR Ford/Riley.



• Keen Survives GT Skirmish at The Glen

Leh Keen battled past a pair of SpeedSource Mazdas in the closing minutes to win the GT class in the Crown Royal 200 at The Glen, scoring the first victory for Dempsey Racing in Rolex Series competition. Keen was joined by James Gue in the No. 41 Global Diving and Salvage Mazda RX-8.
