READ: Black Falcon Leads Mercedes 1-2-3 In Dubai 24

1:30 p.m.: Thirty minutes remain, with Khaled Al Qubisi now aboard the Black Falcon machine to take it bring it to the checkered flag. Meanwhile, the field is slowed for a Code 60, for the stranded Gulf Lamborghini of Rolad Goethe.

1:04 p.m: Less than one hour remains and it's status quo up front, with Sean Edwards now holding a four-lap advantage over the No. 6 Heico entry of Bernd Schneider, who suffered a two-minute and 20-second penalty for exceeding the Code 60 speed limit.

12:30 p.m.: Visibility has decreased dramatically on the front stretch, with sand blowing over the pit lane and track. It's no doubt creating some challenging conditions for drivers in the final one and a half hours.

12:20 p.m.: With a two-lap lead over the No. 6 Heico Mercedes, Sean Edwards looks to be en route to victory.

12:15 p.m.: Medical Update: Harry Hilders, the driver of the No. 54 BMW which brought out the lengthy Code 60 in the early morning, has suffered a broken collar bone.

12:10 p.m.: With less than two hours to go, teams can no longer use their 10 "Joker" laps allowed to go under the reference time. If a car laps quicker than their reference time, they will be handed a drive-through penalty. A number of teams have already suffered such fate, including the No. 1 Saudi Falcons by Schubert BMW.

12:00 p.m.: Problems continue for United Autosports, this time the No. 26 car of Mark Patterson, which has been wheeled to the garage with steering problems.

11:48 a.m.: The No. 6 Heico Mercedes has suffered a setback, handing the Black Falcon SLS AMG GT3 a handy four-lap lead.

11:45 a.m.: Less than three hours remain as the winds around the Dubai Autodrome have picked up. Could there be a sandstorm before the end of the race?

11:35 a.m.: After nearly an hour and a half of work, the No. 36 United Autosports Audi of Alex Popow rejoins the fight after a lengthy transmission change. It dropped Popow and co-drivers Ryan Dalziel and Enzo Potolocchio from 11th to 23rd in the running order. The team's other car now runs 17th overall.

11:09 a.m.: The No 3 Abu Dhabi Black Falcon Mercedes of Thomas Jager has stretched out to a one-lap lead now over the two other Mercedes SLS AMG GT3s. Jorg Muller, however, is pressuring Kenneth Heyer for third, following a strong recovery for the Schubert BMW.

10:42 a.m.: Work continues on the No. 36 United Autosports Audi as the transmission is being replaced. Enzo Potolicchio has already dropped to 15th as a result.

10:40 a.m.: Another Code 60, this time for a heavy accident by the No. 14 Autorlando Sport Porsche. Mercedes now runs 1-2-3, as problems develop for the No. 1 Saudi Falcons by Schubert BMW, which has dropped six laps behind in fourth after debris became lodged in the car's cooling system.

10:05 a.m.: Medical Update: Harry Hilders, the driver of the No. 54 BMW which brought out the lengthy Code 60, is awake and alert but will undergo further tests to rule out serious injury.

10:00 a.m.: Problems continue for the No. 36 United Autosports Audi, which stopped on track and limped back to the pits with ongoing electrical issues. Enzo Potolicchio has moved up to 11th before the latest gremlin. The team's sister No. 26 machine has also battled similar issues.

9:37 a.m.: We're back to green, with less than five hours remaining.

9:30 a.m.: The caution, the fifth Code 60 of the race, came as prime opportunity for the majority of the field to make pit stops, with Jeroen Bleekemolen taking controls of the No. 3 Abu Dhabi Black Falcon Mercedes from Sean Edwards following another impressive stint by the Englishman.

9:25 a.m.: We're under a lengthy Code 60 for an accident by the No. 54 JR Motorsport BMW. The yet-to-be identified driver was extracted from the car for precautionary reasons but is awake and alert. The car, though, is done for the day.

8:30 a.m.: An intense battle for second is developing between Max Nilsson and Abdulaziz AlFaisal, while Sean Edwards holds a 50-second lead in his Abu Dhabi Black Falcon Mercedes. With more than five hours remaining this race is far from over.

7:45 a.m.: The third Code 60 of the race is thrown, for an unknown reason, but caused the No. 119 Aston Martin to check-up on the front-straight and slam into the wall.

6:00 a.m.: Eight hours remain in the Dunlop 24 Hours of Dubai, as the No. 6 Heico Motorsport Mercedes has retaken the lead in what continues to be a three-way battle for the lead.

The No. 36 United Autosports Audi of Alex Popow has moved up to 13th, while the team's sister machine of Mark Patterson lost additional time after its hood became unfixed and spent time in the garage for repairs.

5:00 a.m.: We're working into the final one-third of the race, with Bernd Schneider continuing to lead the way, but yet to make his 11th scheduled stop of the race.

4:25 a.m.: Edwards pits from the lead and undergoes a brake pad change, dropping the Black Falcon Mercedes to third, which is now under the command of Jeroen Bleekemolen. Bernd Schneider is now out front, ahead of the Schubert BMW of Edward Sandstrom.

3:55 a.m.: Sean Edwards continues to hold command of the Dunlop 24 Hours of Dubai, now holding a one-lap lead over the No. 6 Heico Motorsport Mercedes of Adreas Zuber. Abdulaziz AlFasal runs in third in his Saudi Falcons by Schubert BMW.

3:15 a.m.: Catching up on some of the action from the overnight hours: the pole-sitting AUH/FF Corse Ferrari is now officially a retirement (transmission), while the No. 5 Saudi Falcons by Schubert BMW has resurfaced following an engine change, which is allowed under the rules.

The two United Autosports Audi R8 LMS cars have recovered to 13th and 14th, respectively, after both cars suffering intermittent electrical issues. A double top-10 finish is still within realistic reach.

3:03 a.m.: The No. 3 Abu Dhabi Black Falcon Mercedes of Thomas Jager continues to be out front, ahead of new second place man, Christiaan Frankenhout, who is battling with the No. 1 Saudi Falcons BMW of Claudia Hurtgen.

2:00 a.m.: We're halfway through the Dunlop 24 Hours of Dubai, with the No. 3 Abu Dhabi Black Falcon Mercedes still leading the way. The three-horse race continues up front, as teams work through the dead of night

10:48 p.m.: Sean Edwards takes over the lead in the No. 3 Abu Dhabi Black Falcon Mercedes, making a move around Nilsson while navigating through traffic.

10:45 p.m.: Back to green, with Max Nilsson and Sean Edwards battling for the lead in the two leading Mercedes.
