4:00 p.m. Stippler crosses the line and wins the Total 24 Hours of Spa. Full Race Report Here

3:30 p.m. It's all but handed the win to the No. 16 Phoenix Audi, as long as Frank Stippler can keep the car on track without any major problems.

3:28 p.m.: We're back racing with 32 minutes remaining. Ortelli is handed a drive-through penalty for crossing the white line on the entrance to the pit lane, eliminating the No. 1 WRT Audi from immediate contention for the win.

3:20 p.m.: With Ortelli pitting during the safety car, he will go nearly an entire lap down to Stippler. It effectively has handed the win to Phoenix.

3:15 p.m.: A huge accident by the No. 72 Kessel Racing Ferrari of Lorenzo Bontempelli, who suffers a high-speed spin and rolls. The safety car has been deployed, for the 16th time of this race. The driver climbed from the car, apparently uninjured.

Stippler, meanwhile, takes the time to make his car's final stop. Ortelli makes a late decision to pit his No. 1 WRT Audi as well.

3:00 p.m.: One hour to go and it appears that Phoenix and Audi has this one sealed.

2:52 p.m.: The No. 1 SRT Audi of Mies pits and hands over to Stephane Ortelli with 1 hour and 8 minutes remaining. Ortelli will likely need to make another stop, which could prove pivotal in outcome, as the No. 16 Phoenix Audi is only expected to make one more stop.

2:41 p.m.: Stippler makes a move on Mies through traffic and takes over the lead, with 1 hour and 19 minutes remaining in this race.

2:33 p.m.: Mies is coming under attack by Frank Stippler, who is now back in the No. 16 Phoenix Audi. The two are now nearly nose-to-tail, with Stippler clearly the quicker of the two.

1:50 p.m.: We're nearing two hours to go, with Audi firmly in control. Rene Rast holds a 37-second lead over the Christopher Mies-driven No. 1 WRT Audi. BMW squads Vita4One and Marc VDS run two laps back in third and fourth, respectively.

12:30 p.m.: Phoenix's lead No. 6 Audi of Andre Lotterer, Marcel Fassler and Spa 24 debutant Tom Kristensen, which was delayed by more than 30 minutes after an accident int the opening hours, has moved its way up to an impressive eighth overall and only nine laps behind the leaders.

12:25 p.m.: We're back green, with Rene Rast, now in the No. 16 Phoenix Audi, less than 10 seconds behind new leader Christopher Mies.

12:20 p.m.: The leading No. 16 Audi of Frank Stippler takes advantage of the yellow for service in the garage, handing the lead back to Mies. Mathias Lauda's No. 66 Vita4One BMW has been promoted to third following Sandstrom's race-ending accident, with Maxime Martin in fourth for Marc VDS, but two laps behind.

12:10 p.m. The safety car, the 15th of the race, has come out for Sandstrom's high-speed accident at Eau Rouge.

12:05 p.m.: Just as we say that, Bonanomi is wheeled to the garage, leaves and then stops at the end of pit lane. Edward Sandstrom rejoins but then crashes at Eau Rouge. It looks like it could be the end of the day for the No. 2 Audi.

12:00 p.m. Four hours to go and the No. 16 Phoenix Audi of Frank Stippler is out front, enjoying a one-lap lead over Christopher Mies's No. 1 WRT Audi. The Belgian squad's sister Audi R8 LMS ultra of Marco Bonanomi is third, in what could be a historic sweep of the podium for the German manufacturer.

9:10 a.m.: There's drama as the No. 16 Phoenix Audi of Andrea Piccini has a puncture, handing the lead to Stephane Ortelli in the No. 1 WRT machine.

7:15 a.m.: The No. 3 Marc VDS BMW, which dominated the first half of the race, has slowly slipped back after some issues.

4:35 a.m.: Markus Palttala climbs aboard the Marc VDS BMW for the first time of the race and will serve his 30-second stop and hold penalty.

4:05 a.m.: American favorites United Autosports has retired its lone Audi R8 LMS ultra after a troubled race with no fewer than two separate accidents and one miraculous rebuild.

3:00 a.m.: With 11 hours complete, it's the No. 16 Phoenix Audi of Rene Rast that's up front, ahead of Martin, who has regained second with Stephane Ortelli's WRT Audi now in third. The top three remain on the lead lap as the field goes back to green.

2:45 a.m.: The Beechdean Aston Martin Vantage is stuck at Turn 19, bringing out another safety car.

2:25 a.m.: More problems for the No. 3 Marc VDS BMW, as Maxime Martin collides with a Mercedes, resulting in a puncture for their once race-leading car. Martin rejoins but drops to third, one lap behind the two Audis.

1:35 a.m.: Just as we went back to green, another caution comes out, due to car off-course. It is the eighth safety car period of the race.

1:18 a.m.: Another safety car, this time for debris at Blanchimont from a previous accident.

There's a close call between leader Leinders and the AF Corse Ferrari of Filip Salaquarda, who gets into the rear of the BMW.
