INDYCAR may be losing Danica to NASCAR but GO DADDY is staying.

SPEED.com has confirmed there will be an announcement that Andretti Autosport and GO DADDY will remain partners in the IZOD INDYCAR series, as first reported last Sunday night on WIND TUNNEL.

A source close to GO DADDY also confirmed that Patrick's sponsor since 2008 is expected to be on the side of one of Michael Andretti's three (or four) cars in 2012.

It's not known if Patrick would be the driver of the Go Daddy Indy car if she returns to the team for Indy, but Andretti is believed to be open to running the only woman to ever win an Indy car race and she would be available since her Nationwide race at Charlotte is on Saturday next May.

Holding onto the contract would be a major save for Andretti Autosport since GO DADDY is one of the most lucrative sponsors in open-wheel racing, and could make it easier for the team to keep its current lineup, minus Patrick.

Andretti's team was the first one that the internet domain name king used in motorsports and Bob Parsons' company was the presenting sponsor for the Indianapolis 500 on ABC last year.
