JR Hildebrand and Pippa Mann, the two remaining drivers with injuries from Sunday's major crash at Las Vegas, have been released from the hospital.

"Panther Racing driver JR Hildebrand was released from University Medical Center in Las Vegas today following an injury suffered in yesterday’s IndyCar Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway," the team said in a release Tuesday morning.

"Hildebrand suffered a severely bruised sternum in a multi-car accident and was held overnight at the hospital for observation."

Hildebrand will also require attention in the off-season to the knee injury he suffered during a promotion ahead of the Texas Twin 275s in June.

England's Mann will require further treatment for the injuries she sustained on Sunday.

"Rahal Letterman Lanigan driver Pippa Mann had surgery last night to clean and assess a severe burn injury to the little finger of her right hand after the accident in yesterday’s IZOD Indy Car World Championships in Las Vegas," her team revealed.

"She is being released from the University Medical Center in Las Vegas this morning. She will need a subsequent surgery in 2-3 weeks to fully repair the injury but is expected to make a full recovery."

Team Penske's Will Power was also hurt in the crash, but was released from the hospital Sunday night.

Power has subsequently withdrawn from his participation in this weekend's Gold Coast 600 V8 Supercars race in his native Australia.
