Lola, one of the constructors believed to have received the nod to supply cars for the 2012 IZOD IndyCar Series, revealed its B12/00 scale wind tunnel model in England late last week.

Shown at the House of Lords during the annual showcase organized by the Motorsport Industry Association (MIA), Lola's 2012 IndyCar contender was a surprise inclusion amongst the British firms' display items. Having gone so far as to produce a proper wind tunnel model, the former CART and ChampCar constructor clearly felt confident about their chances of being included as a part of the new era of IndyCar racing.

Representatives from Lola will be in attendance at the 2012 IndyCar announcement this Wednesday in Indianapolis.

The IZOD IndyCar Series is offering fans an opportunity to attend the 2012 launch through a special promotion.
