Greaves Motorsport has confirmed that British star driver Tom Kimber-Smith will return to the team for 2013, competing in select races in one of its Zytek Z11SN-Nissans.

Kimber-Smith, who recently landed a full-time deal with CORE autosport to drive a Porsche 911 GT3 RSR in the American Le Mans Series, likely beginning with the third round at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, will lead Greaves' efforts at the Twelve Hours of Sebring, Six Hours of Spa and 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The 28-year-old was part of Greaves' 2011 ELMS championship-winning season, which also included class victory at Le Mans.

“I am really pleased to continue my association with Greaves Motorsport and I am sure that we can add to the list of successes that we have achieved together over the past two years," Kimber-Smith said.

"Their cars have always been prepared to the very highest levels, the fact that there have been no retirements for any reason while I have driven for them is evidence of that. I am confident that 2013 will a great year for endurance racing.”

Team manager Jacob Greaves added: “Tom has been one the key elements in our record over the past few seasons. Fast and reliable, he is a perfect match for the team. We are quietly optimistic about the upcoming season, we aim to be right back at the top of the sport.”
