Luxury Racing will embark on its second season of international sports car competition with a revised driver lineup featuring some of the sport's top stars, the French squad confirmed this week.

Fielding a pair of Ferrari F458 Italias in the FIA World Endurance Championship, the team's GTE-Pro class entry sees team regular Fred Makowiecki joined by Jaime Melo and JK Vernay, while its 2011-spec Prancing Horse, which will compete in the GTE-Am category, features the driving strength of Dominik Farnbacher, Pierre Ehret and Francois Jakubowski.

Luxury's GTE-Pro lineup is particularly strong, with former Risi Competizione pilot Melo landing a full-time ride after losing his Ferrari factory driver status at the end of last year, and 2010 Indy Lights champ Vernay finding refuge in the GT ranks after reportedly having landed a Peugeot race seat prior to its withdrawal.

The duo, along with the highly under-rated Makowiecki, will face competition from two AF Corse Ferraris, a Felbermayr-Proton Porsche and an Aston Martin Racing Vantage in the eight-round global championship which kicks off at the 60th Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring next month.
