One week after crowning its overall champions at the FIA Gala in Istanbul, all drivers and teams from the FIA World Endurance Championship were recognized Saturday evening with an end-of-season awards ceremony in Paris.

Top drivers and teams from five categories - LMP1, LMP1 Privateer, LMP2, GTE-Pro and GTE-Am, were honored with trophies during the ceremony at the Pavillon Champs-Elysees.

Audi Sport Team Joest's Benoit Treluyer and Marcel Fassler were on hand to accept top honors in LMP1. The duo teamed with Andre Lotterer to win the Drivers' World Championship following three wins in their Audi R18 e-tron quattro.

Rebellion Racing and drivers Nicolas Prost and Neel Jani accepted trophies for best LMP1 Privateer, while American squad Starworks Motorsport and Enzo Potolicchio took home hardware for their dream season in LMP2. Team owner Peter Baron joined Potolicchio on stage to accept their awards.

GTE-Pro saw AF Corse and Giancarlo Fisichella recognized as class champions, while Larbre Competition took home the GTE-Am teams' title, with Team Felbermayr-Proton drivers Christian Ried, Gianluca Roda and Paolo Ruberti accepted the category's drivers trophies.

Additionally, Potolicchio claimed the series' "Rookie of the Year" honors, while Toyota Racing took home "Team Rookie of the Year" for their impressive mid-season debut that delivered three wins out of the last five races.

“Last week we traveled to Istanbul to celebrate the world champions at the FIA Gala and tonight is the end of season party to celebrate all the teams and drivers who took part in the first year of the FIA WEC," said FIA WEC CEO Gerard Neveu.

"I would like to congratulate each and every team and driver for the contribution they made in making the World Endurance Championship a huge success in 2012 and look forward to seeing them in 2013 for an even better year.

"I would like to take this opportunity to wish our partners, sponsors, officials, teams, drivers, members of the media and the fans a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.”

The 2013 FIA WEC season kicks off with the Six Hours of Silverstone on April 12-14.
