Last weekend, the Asian Le Mans Series kicked off with its inaugural two-race championship in Okayama, Japan. With 23 entries from around the world competing for automatic invitations to next year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans, there was plenty of action on and off the track.

Three American Le Mans Series teams - BMW Rahal Letterman Racing Team, Drayson Racing and Robertson Racing - also made the trip overseas, all enjoying varying levels of success. Tommy Milner and Dirk Muller scored the race one win in GT2, while Drayson’s Jonny Cocker claimed the overall pole and recorded both races’ fastest laps. To top it off, David Murry in the Robertson Doran Ford GT-R led race two in GT2 for over 25 minutes.

Dagys also captured images from the World Touring Car Championship event, including two very soggy races for the production-based machines.
