Enjoy a quick selection of images from the first two days of testing by the factory Lotus program and HVM Racing driver Simona de Silvestro at Palm Beach International Raceway.

John Judd also provided SPEED.com with a brief update as to how things went on Friday.

"So far so good again," he said. "50 laps today working through the test program. We're concentrating on the engine mapping and gearshift, running up to max revs, [and] not yet had to stop running due to any engine issues but, of course, [it's] still very early days."
