Drama unfolded at the start of Sunday's FIA GT1 World Championship race in San Luis, Argentina, as six cars were collected in a massive pile-up, which took out newly crowned champions Lucas Luhr and Michael Krumm.

In addition to Luhr's No. 23 JRM Nissan GT-R, the No. 21 Sumo Power GT Nissan of David Brabaham, as well as three Lamborghinis were all involved.

The No. 7 Young Driver AMR Aston Martin of Alex Muller, spun but miraculously sustained minimal damage and continued to a 10th place finish following a drive-through penalty for passing under the safety car.

All drivers were uninjured from the crash.
