After all the excitement of the NASCAR Sprint Cup All-Star Race on Saturday, SPEED turns to sports car racing in a big way this Sunday, May 18, with both the American Le Mans Series and Grand-Am Rolex Series set to take center stage.

The RumBum.com 250, fifth round of the Grand-Am Rolex Series, takes to the challenging and scenic Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca road course in Monterey, Calif., on Saturday, and airs Sunday at noon on SPEED. (If you just have to know what happened before you watch, we'll have the story here at SPEEDtv.com after the race on Saturday, but with some "spoiler warning" tags to preserve the suspense from those of you who'd rather not know!)
ALMS GTs and prototypes take to the Miller Motorsports Park road course at 3 p.m. ET Sunday. (LAT photo) » More Photos

That's just the start of things, though, for immediately
following the Grand-Am event, the American Le Mans Series kicks off with the Larry H. Miller Dealerships Utah Grand Prix presented by Grand & Little Hotels, airing LIVE at 3 p.m. from Miller Motorsports Park on the outskirts of Salt Lake City. The fourth round of the ALMS marks a return to permanent road courses for the series for the first time since Sebring – and represents the final tune-up for ALMS teams prior to the 24 Hours of Le Mans next month.

Daytona Prototypes, LMP1 and P2 prototypes, GT cars...we've got it all covered. Don't miss a moment!
