After skipping the Rolex 24 at Daytona, AIM Autosport returns to the GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series with the ambition of completing the remainder of the season, sponsorship pending.

The Ian Willis-led team arrived at Homestead-Miami Speedway with its Riley MkXI, chassis No. 1, but now carrying Dinan-tuned BMW power for the first time. With both Burt Frisselle and Mark Wilkins having started the season with different teams, the duo reunites for Saturday’s Grand Prix of Miami.

“The goals for this weekend is for Mark and I to learn as much as we can and catch up as quickly as we can,” Frisselle said. “This is the first time the AIM car has been on track with the new Continental tire. So there’s a steep learning curve there... But if we can get out of here with a top-five, it would be awesome.”
