Florida-based DragonSpeed debuted its Audi R8 LMS ultra Wednesday in Dubai, in preparation for Friday's 24-hour enduro.


This weekend's 8th annual Dunlop 24 Hours of Dubai marks a monumental occasion for Elton Julian, as his DragonSpeed organization makes its international debut, and also the first race for its Audi R8 LMS ultra.

Julian has assembled a steady lineup for Friday's around-the-clock enduro, with longtime friend, and former FIA WEC LMP2 rival, Enzo Potolicchio being joined by 2011 ALMS PC co-champion Eric Lux, Pierre Ehret, Hideki Francis Onda and Peter Aronson.

SPEED.com caught up with Julian and Potolicchio following Wednesday's test session at the Dubai Autodrome to get their thoughts on the opening day of track activity.
