Gunter Schaldach walked away from a frightening accident in Saturday's Rolex Sports Car Series 250 driven by VISITFLORIDA.com at Road America. Schaldach's No. 07 Banner Racing Camaro GT.R apparently lost brake pressure while entering the high-speed Turn 1, hitting the No. 40 Dempsey Racing Mazda RX-8 of Joe Foster.

Both cars then slammed into the barriers, with Schaldach's Camaro going up and over the 20-foot high catch fence. His car barrel-rolled down the hill before coming to rest right-side up.

While Schaldach miraculously walked away from the 160-mph accident, Foster was transported by air to Frodtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital in Milwaukee. He was later released without any reported injuries.
