Chevrolet and its engine builders at Ilmor celebrated the season finale with its partner team Panther Racing by using its championship-winning 2.2-liter twin-turbo V6 engine to play the Star-Spangled Banner.

Formula One fans are accustomed to seeing various engine manufacturers play national anthems with naturally-aspirated V8 and V10 engines, but the folks at Ilmor went one better, using its 700 hp forced-induction mill to play a fairly accurate version of the song.

Members of the No. 4 National Guard team are seen behind the car, while the senior brass from GM Racing stand at the front of the car and offer a round of applause once the car finished its tribute.
