Ryan Dalziel, Enzo Potolicchio and Alex Popow will undoubtedly be the busiest drivers this month, as the Starworks Motorsports trio embark on three endurance races over the next three weeks.

Their journey began last weekend at Daytona International Speedway, where the 2010 Rolex 24 winner and SPEED.com's 2011 Rolex Series 'Rookies of the Year' took part in a three-day GRAND-AM test in their Starworks Motorsports Daytona Prototype and Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge GS entries before jetting off to the United Arab Emirates to compete in the Dunlop 24 Hours of Dubai and Gulf 12 Hours at Abu Dhabi in a United Autosports Audi R8 LMS car.

Dalziel, Potolicchio and Popow's journey will end back in Daytona for the 50th Rolex 24 on Jan 28-29, adding up to a total of three enduros, or 60 hours of racing, over a span of three weeks, not to mention thousands of frequent flyer miles.

SPEED.com caught up with the trio at the starting point in Daytona to get their initial thoughts on the ambitious around-the-world adventure.

With thanks to United Autosports, we'll continue chronicling their journey through a series of video blogs over the next three weeks, which will include a behind-the-scenes look at the Anglo-American team's effort in both Middle Eastern races.
