United Autosports had a challenging debut at the Dunlop 24 Hours of Dubai, as the Anglo-American team's pair of Audi R8 LMS cars battled intermittent electrical issues over the course of the around-the-clock desert marathon.

What looked to be a likely top-five finish for the No. 36 car of GRAND-AM regulars Ryan Dalziel, Enzo Potolicchio and Alex Popow ended in a disappointing 19th place finish after also overcoming gearbox failure in the closing hours. The team's sister No. 26 Audi of Matt Bell, Mark Patterson, Roger Wills and Frank Yu came home in 29th overall after similar setbacks.

SPEED.com caught up with drivers from both teams post-race to get their reactions and look ahead to next weekend's Gulf 12 Hours at Abu Dhabi, where Dalziel, Potolicchio and Popow will be gunning for top honors.
