SPEED.com catches up with United Autosports drivers Ryan Dalziel, Mark Patterson and Alex Popow following qualifying for this weekend's Dunlop 24 Hours of Dubai.

The No. 36 Audi R8 LMS car of Daziel, Popow and Enzo Potolicchio will start fourth following a 2:03.881 lap time by Potolicchio in the mid-engined sports car, while Mark Patterson qualified a respectable seventh overall and in class, in what turned out to be a day of strategy for all competitors.

Teams were faced with a unique Balance of Performance procedure, which shuffled up the running order, as Dalziel, Patterson and Popow explain.

The seventh annual Dunlop 24 Hours of Dubai will take the green flag Friday at 2 p.m. local (5 a.m. ET).
