Wind Tunnel Sunday to Focus on Open-Wheel Unification
Dave Despain and Guest Co-Host Robin Miller will interview Tony George and Kevin Kalkhoven, along with Mario Andretti and Jacques Villeneuve this Sunday night.

Robin Miller, SPEED’s Open Wheel Racing Analyst, who been following the story of the unification of American open wheel racing (officially announced Friday afternoon) closely the past several weeks, will join Dave Despain in the studio to Co-Host Wind Tunnel this Sunday February 24th at 9 p.m. ET.

Veteran open wheel racing champion, Mario Andretti, will be a featured interview on Wind Tunnel this Sunday February 24th. As an Indy 500 and CART Series champion, Mario has been a proponent of a unified American open wheel racing series for some time now. He will share his opinions on Friday’s big announcement as well as share his view on how this will impact the future of open wheel racing in America.

Featured Interview: Tony George and Kevin Kalkhoven
The two main players in this week’s unification in American open wheel racing will featured interviews on Wind Tunnel this Sunday night. Tony George, the Founder and CEO of the Indy Racing League, and Kevin Kalkhoven, former co-owner of the Champ Car World Series, will join Dave Despain and Robin Miller LIVE via satellite to talk about the big announcement and discuss their views on the future of open wheel racing in America.

Featured Interview: Jacques Villeneuve (1995 Indy 500 winner & CART Series Champion)
1995 CART Series Champion, Jacques Villeneuve, will also be a featured interview on Wind Tunnel this Sunday. As the last CART champion before the infamous split in 1996, we’ll get Jacques’ thoughts on the unification. In addition, we’ll talk to Jacques about his aspiring NASCAR career, which was abruptly put on hold last week after failing to qualify for the Daytona 500.
