After capturing all of the action of the finale of the inaugural Outlaws World Finals for the Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series at The Dirt Track @ Lowe's Motor Speedway last November as Steve Kinser, Danny Lasoski and Daryn Pittman all battled for the win on the white flag lap, the cameras from SPEED will again be rolling LIVE on Friday, May 23 from 8-11 p.m. Eastern, as the series returns to the blazing fast four-tenths mile for the Rite Aid Outlaws Showdown.

The event will mark the first of three super-sized LIVE three hours shows on SPEED for the Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series this season. Overall, there will be 25 hours of World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series and Late Model Series action over the course of the 2008 campaign broadcast on SPEED.

The second annual Outlaws World Finals will also air LIVE on SPEED to end the season on November 1, as well as the Morgan Hughes National Open from the famed Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania on September 27. All three of the super-sized LIVE events will air from 8-11 p.m. Eastern.

Last season, six different drivers won Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series races on SPEED. Two-time defending series champion Donny Schatz led this list with three triumphs, including in the Rite Aid Outlaws Showdown at The Dirt Track @ Lowe's Motor Speedway last May. Joey
Saldana, driving for NASCAR star Kasey Kahne, won twice on SPEED last season, in the Gold Cup Race of Champions at Silver Dollar Speedway in California, as well as at the famed Eldora Speedway in Ohio.

Steve Kinser, the 20-time series champion was victorious in the finale of the Outlaws World Finals in thrilling fashion to earn his second career win at The Dirt Track @ Lowe's Motor Speedway to cap a 10-win 2007 season.

Also victorious last season on SPEED was current World of Outlaws championship point leader Jason Meyers who won at Eldora Speedway.
