Schatz lined up 23rd in the event and steadily worked his way to the front by the end of the 30 laps.

The three time and defending series champion is now tied with Kinser for the series lead with 10 Top-Five finishes enter a busy three race stretch this coming weekend to wrap up the first East Coast swing of the season.

Despite having mechanical problem for the second consecutive event when he lost an engine on Friday night, Kinser is still second in points and leads the series with 15 Top-10 finishes in the 18 events that have been contested. He and Schatz have traded the top spot in the standings a couple of
times this season, as Kinser looks for his record 21st title.

Joey Saldana remains third in points, 66 markers out of the lead, with Jason Meyers fourth and Craig Dollansky rounding out the Top-Five.

Jason Sides is currently sixth in the standings, with 2001 World of Outlaws champion Danny Lasoski seventh, Jac Haudenschild eighth, Kraig Kinser ninth and Sammy Swindell 10th.

The World of Outlaws return to action this coming weekend with three events to help celebrate Memorial Day, beginning on Friday at The Dirt Track @ Lowe's Motor Speedway with the Outlaws Showdown, which will be televised live on SPEED beginning at 8 p.m. Eastern.
