It was wonderful to see Toyota stay in American racing ,at least for now.

I think, like Honda, they were getting the royal run around in Formula One.

Toyota definitely knows how to win in American racing where you get a fair shake like everyone else.

A fair shake in Nascar? Where have you been? The cost of racing in the US may be a bargain but the "fair shake" in Nascar does not exist. They'll ask you to check your money and your brain at the door. You can play but winning is reserved for the right teams. Sorry but look at the results from "The Chase"; it's not even close. I hope for all the Nascar fans that Danica signs with Junior's team, running Toyotas, sponsored by Red Bull so every fan can have a piece of the loosing action. Then there can be some reality in US racing. LOL PS, where can I buy a toyota pushrod V8? Reality check! Any ideas?

Toyota's a darn sight closer to winning races in Nascar then it ever was in Formula One.

AND-if you want to find direct motor transmission, suspension or even body correlations to the actual stock cars any manufacturer is making in Nascars these days you are fighting a losing battle.

Toyota's huge presence in the Nascar series is about brand recognition and they get so much more coverage in Nascar that it pales as to ad exposure for the dollar Toyota paid out in Formula One.

Also, unlike Formula One,the teams that have signed on to run their cars are not part of some promoters grand scheme to just rob a corporate sponsors money by using people he hand picks to run those teams.

The teams in Nascar are so diverse such a situation could likely never be organized.

Toyotra has great people on many teams fighting to win them their first championship.

Toyota will have their Nascar Championship and when they do,because Toyota is now a company that employs a massive amount of Americans and does more then alot of domestic brands in America for Americans, will deserve that championship.

It is just a matter of time.

Posting from a tinfoil lined room in the basement?

If you're running a race team in any NASCAR series and you're with the Toyota brand, you can make arrangements with TRD to purchase a Toyota designed/manufactured/assembled pushrod V8 race engine.

It's a RACE engine! You know about those ... the F1 runners use RACE engines. People conveniently forget that drivers and race teams don't write rules. They show up with equipment that fits within the rules as they're written.

Nascar is all about brands. Toyota will get all the air time they can want with more involvement with Nascar.
